Our guest rooms, unchanged since its establishment in 1925, are quaint, purely Japanese-style buildings that represent Japanese sense of beauty.
Of the approximately 9000㎡ site area, over 3300㎡is devoted to the garden, and the number of rooms is comfortably arranged with only 24 rooms
Inside the building and in the guest rooms, you will find hanging scrolls and paintings by literatis and financiers associated with Hagi,as they were in those days, So you can also experience the culture of Hagi with its long history.
The guest rooms on the first floor offer a view of the beautiful seasonal Japanese garden.

A special guest room
A special guest room is spacious suites in a detached wooden one-story structure.The guest room and garden of Tomoe Ryokan, built in 1925 and chosen as the accommodation for the Emperor Showa, have been recreated.
The hanging scrolls and paintings are all by Keigetsu Matsubayashi, a master of Japanese painters representing the modern era, who was from Hagi and a close friend of the founder of Tomoe, Tsunekichi Koto.
